The picture as a whole looks great, but like pretty much everyone else has said, the bubbles stick out. To me they are too ordinary and plain to fit in with your picture. I dont know if it is because of the white background against the multi color background, but i think that maybe adding some color to them could help tie them in with the rest of the picture.
I just think that there is too much of a clash between the bubbles and the background, at least it sticks out to me. I'm not entirely sure what would make it work together better, maybe a different style of bubbles or something along those lines.
Have you tried using the emphasis trick? You kow,, bolding certain words to put emphasis on them? That's what I do. I hate, HATE hand-lettering. Probably because my hand-writing sucks. Also, where is this set? Freakin'... cable and flag... city... place...? Lost for words. What font is that?
While a useful tool in lettering, bolding isn't really my issue at the moment. Just looking at how readable/interesting/cohesive the lettering appears to be in terms of the whole. The standard digital lettering is fast and clean, but not as visually appealing as I'd like.
They live in Harbortown. This is near one of the piers on the beach. <3
