I think so.
I couldn't figure out how the R2 was moving until I saw my friend's tape later. Turns out the remote-control guy was standing right in front of us. XD

True story: While we were driving down to Megacon, these guys passed us by with the two R2 robots in clear-ish crates on the back of their truck. We're all laughing and having a good time and I said "Oh look, it's R2." and we went on like nothing happened. Took a moment to realize how absurd it was before we started laughing harder.
